Publication Ethics & Standards

The International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management System (IJAEMS) adheres strictly to high ethical standards to protect the quality, integrity, and transparency of scholarly infrastructure. All participants—authors, reviewers, and editors—are expected to act in compliance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) core practices.

Authorship Duties
Submit authentic, original engineering manuscripts with verified data representations and peer citations.
Reviewer Standards
Execute objective, constructive, and highly confidential evaluations free from external bias.
Editorial Guardrails
Ensure fair decisions, manage multi-tier conflicts, and defend academic publishing workflows.
Misconduct Shield
Detect and filter text overlapping anomalies using crossref screening algorithms.

Duties and Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting papers to IJAEMS must ensure that their work represents an original and authentic contribution to the engineering domain. The presenting datasets must be accurate, and the manuscript must incorporate an adequate level of cross-reference materials to satisfy verification workflows.

  • Originality Assets: All manuscripts must be entirely original. Any form of intellectual duplication is strictly restricted.
  • Data Integrity: Fabricating, falsifying, or manipulating research data metrics represents an absolute violation of academic ethics.
  • Dynamic Citations: Work or statements authored by third-party researchers must be correctly structured and cited.
  • Exclusive Submission: Submitting the exact research profile concurrently to multiple platforms is unaccepted.
  • Conflict Disclosure: Financial or institutional assistance frameworks supporting the research must be clearly stated.
  • Error Corrections: Authors are responsible for reporting newly noticed structural flaws post-publication.

Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers

Peer review is an essential component of formal scholarly communication and lies at the heart of the scientific method. Reviewers are expected to assist the IJAEMS Editorial Board in making objective and constructive manuscript selections.

  • Prompt Evaluations: Reviewers who feel unqualified or cannot complete the task on schedule must immediately notify the editor.
  • Absolute Confidentiality: Received documents must be handled as strictly confidential assets.
  • Objectivity Criteria: Reviews must be conducted objectively without personal or non-scientific arguments.
  • Source Auditing: Reviewers should flag published works that have not been properly cited by the authors.
  • Conflict Mitigation: Reviewers must reject analyzing papers featuring competitive or collaborative conflicts.

Duties and Responsibilities of Editors

The executive editors of IJAEMS evaluate submitted proposals on the basis of intellectual relevance, contribution depth, and integrity, regardless of the author's race, origin, orientation, or institutional status.

  • Unbiased Decisions: Editors hold total authority to accept or reject submissions based on objective merit matrices.
  • Double-Blind Discretion: Strict anonymity is enforced across the structural review systems.
  • Investigation Protocols: Editors will initiate corrective measures if ethical challenges or misconduct claims arise.

Plagiarism, Falsification, and Misconduct Policy

IJAEMS maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding academic malpractice. Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, or data structures from other sources without explicit attribution, as well as self-plagiarism without appropriate academic justification.

  • Advanced Scanning: Submissions undergo structural verification using crossref metadata match systems.
  • Retraction Mandates: Document retraction notices are deployed if post-publication verification detects critical violations.
  • Institutional Flagging: Validated systemic misconduct tracks may be reported to the author's university board.

Serious Misconduct Alert

Any manuscript containing falsified data, fabricated research parameters, or text overlapping thresholds above acceptable journal levels will be rejected immediately, and the associated author accounts will face permanent indexing blocks.
